Conquered

Dreadful D’s the devil brings
Doubt, Dissatisfaction 
darkness and devastation 
Defeat, depression
Dread, and disillusion
Drudgery, dreary days
Discouragement, and finally Death
But Jesus conquered over death!
He triumphed and none of these
Ever even touched Him.
His heart was always at rest
Overflowing with joy
The devil need not harm us!
Jesus is the truth, His ways are perfect 
His love goes beyond anything else
What an amazing life we get to live
Walking ever closely with our Lord
And nothing can ever touch us 
Except what He allows
And knows what is good for us
